Billboard posted its top music festivals for 2022, yes, it was back in June, and we’re sorry for being tardy, but it’s been a very busy year.

They’ve curated a list of the best music festivals in the world (in their opinion), and the Liff App has been lucky enough to help 6 of the top 10 music festivals with their lost and found experiences.
The first in the top ten using the Liff App comes in at #9 and is a country festival–we’re just as surprised as you.
But as a country follow-up to two weeks of Coachella, Stagecoach gets wild, especially the RV Resort–Lost and Found can quickly become an essential safety net for festival attendees.
Finally, Roo returned to the Farm in 2022, which included the addition of the Liff App. The returns didn’t end there, with over 700 items returned at a rate of 70.49%, with 277 being phones!
Lost and Found is a special way of radiating positivity!
At #7, our hometown of Chicago is on the board with the Lollapalooza Music Festival!
Located just off the lake, Grant Park creates an ideal backdrop for you and about 100,000+ other attendees to enjoy a unique festival experience.
The sheer size, demographics (think a bit younger), and duration make Lost and Found a frequent stop for attendees. But Lolla came through in a big way, using the Liff App’s Protect to help reunite 730 found items with their owners.
Outside Lands is a frequent addition to any top festivals list. Plus, with San Francisco’s reputation for tech, we were excited to see the response to our technology helping attendees’ lost and found experience.
In summation, it was pretty positive:
“Love the idea, super easy to set up. I didn’t lose my phone… but I felt a bit comforted knowing that it would be easy to get my phone back to me if it was simply lost.”
-Allison, Outside Lands 2022 Attendee
The Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas is a lot!
It feels like Headliners approach Lost and Found professionally at EDC, both losing stuff like it’s their job and gratefully trying to get their property back. EDC is simply record-setting every year.
No surprise here, the Jewel of the festival industry takes the top spot and is one of the earliest adopters of the Liff App, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Coachella takes guest experience seriously, and lost and found is no exception. In 2022, they became the first festival to adopt Protect Tags to help protect more than just your phone when taking the trip out to the desert.
For the rest of the list, check out the article here! We’re incredibly grateful for the events that have made the decision to improve the process and the customer experience when property goes missing; meanwhile, we’re wondering why those other four haven’t made that choice yet… looking at you Glastonbury, South by Southwest, Tomorrowland, and BottleRock Napa Valley.
